Sanibel Island and Sanibel Moorings offers any size family or group a large variety of activities including shelling, swimming, fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, tennis, and bicycling at our condo vacation resort, to the shopping, dining, wildlife excursions, theater, museums, and art galleries, on Sanibel and Captiva Islands.

Dining opportunities range from superlative restaurants with award winning cuisine to family style and casual. Most places offer their menu as take-out. Another great option is to pick-up fresh fixings at one of the on-island markets and take advantage of one of the gas grills in our courtyard.

If boating and fishing are in your plans, visit one of the nearby marinas, and since Sanibel Moorings has its own dockage on the property feel free to tie up right here. Tarpon, snook and sea trout are just 3 readily caught in season. In fact, the waters around Sanibel Island are often included in a list of the top 5 tarpon fishing areas in the world. Of course you can fish on the beach, off our docks or at a nearby pier if that is more to your taste.
